People tell me I have no friends. People are wrong. My friends are the titans of art and industry, and of science and spirituality, who came before me, and who paved the way for my accomplishments in life. Through their works they have left behind enough of themselves that any who deign to pick up a book can know them, just as well as any compatriot who befriended them while they lived.
And if you listen to my music, or view my works of art and cinema, then you can know me as well. You will know both the good and the evil within me. You will know my struggles, and my pain; my dreams, my aspirations, and yes, my disappointments as well.
If you dislike what you read, or see, or hear, then you would not like me, and should not call yourself my ally. But if what I have left behind speaks to you, then though I may be dead a thousand million years, still you and I are friends, and Lord willing, we shall meet far beyond death's veil one day.
