Bad to the Bone

Solar Generator

I'm in search of a fully modular, fully extensible, fully encapsulated solar power system. I've made a few of them myself, but none were professionally constructed. In a nutshell, I will go over what I specifically mean here...

Modularity:

The system must be compatible with a specific battery size, preferably lead-acid based. I must be able to visit my local hardware store, purchase the correct battery, and then easily install it in the power cell.

It must also be compatible with a power inverter, which I can also independently purchase. And it must be compatible with a solar panel, which (yet again) I can purchase.

I must be able to hot-swap any of the above components as and when they fail.

Extensibility:

I must be able to purchase several of these systems, and then hook them one to another, whether in series or in parallel, in order to comprehensively build a more capable overall power system.

Encapsulation:

The power cell must have simple enough construction, and have simple enough instructions, to make troubleshooting both a quick and an easy ordeal, so that even an amateur can assemble and run the unit.

The above capabilities must be non-negotiable. And whichever product satisfies them will be a revolutionary game-changer in the field of solar power systems.
