Distillation Generator

One more invention: the Distillation Generator.

For most of the year, water temperatures are higher than atmospheric temperatures. I Propose this discrepancy be utilized by a liquid whose boiling point lies between the two.

The choice of the liquid is crucial to the success of this electrical generator. Its boiling point must be high enough that it will evaporate upon subjection to ocean temperatures, while low enough that it will condense upon subjection to air temperatures.

A series of air turbines would be placed between the distilling chamber and the condensation chamber, with a series of check valves ensuring that the condensate returned via a separate passageway.

The main problem with this design would be the constantly varying atmospheric and water temperatures, which would require a substance to either be highly regulated, or cleverly chosen to be operational only at certain times of times of the day and night.
